Fun Time @ LangKawi

Langkawi Again on July 21st 2007

We’ve been frens like since high school and we never had a chance to go travel together…. There are always plans and plans and plans but never did I once happen….. But hey you know what???? Finally it did happen….. *Grinning* It’s a 2 days 1 night trip on 21 July to Langkawi…. Yes I know within a year I went there twice but you know why tat happen coz I didn’t had a chance to go for the cable car ride the last time I was there….. So that’s one of the main reasons I wanna step to Langkawi again…… Yippie……. Here’s the story of our journey…. I’m suppose to meet them as in Ann, Wan Chee & May at Mcd Auto city @ 8am but due to some early morning accident my arrival time was delayed to 8.15am….. We had Mcd breakfast in my car…. We departed from Autocity @ 8.30am……. After about 1 hours driving we’ve finally reached Kuala Kedah for our ferry ride to Langkawi HOWEVER the earlier ferry was all taken up…. The next available ferry is at 11AM!!!!! Damn!!!!! So what are we suppose to do for the next 1 and half hour????? We chit chats and read the newspaper…. Of course!!!! Being gals we would never be bored????? Finally 11am comes and off we went into the ferry…… It takes us approximately about 1 and half hour to reach Langkawi…. Lucky for us that the sea is not rough else for sure I’m going to have sea sick…… Woo hoo hoo…… Touch down at Langkawi….. So what we do next???? Hmmm….. Myself and Wan Chee went over to enquire about our rental car…… While waiting for the person to fetch me to collect the rental car, the rest of the gals wen to buy the return ferry ticket for the next day……. We rented “Hero”@Wira…. It’s look brand new and most importantly the air conditioner is working superbly….. That’s what my concern is as you all know how’s the weather like M’sia… After settling down in “hero” there’s some growling sound…. Hmmmm coming from where??? None other than our tummy…..hahahahahaha…. Barn Thai is the place we had our lunch……. A Unique place where this restaurant is located at….. The path leading to the restaurant is actually built at a mangrove….. The food hhmmm so so I would say….. But of course we manage to finish it too…. Next stop is Tanjung Rhu…. Wow really nice beach they had there….. It would be great if the beaches in Penang can be as clear as the one in Langkawi…. Next stop none other than the cable car… I’m getting excited while on our way there but unfortunately the weather doesn’t seem to make me excited…. Huhuhuhuhu… Upon reaching there me and Chee make our way for the cable car ticket booth…. To my dismay, it’s close due to bad weather…. Sob..sob…. No luck in sitting the Langkawi cable car….. But never mind la at least we to take lotsa pic around the area….. Cable car and me no luck….. We move on to Pantai Kok next for some snap shot…. It’s all about taking pictures…. Finally we headed to our hotel @Hotel Helang for checking in and get some rest before heading out for dinner…… My gosh our room is superb…… It consists of 2 queen size bed and another small bed by the window…. Check out more on the room at the pics….. Once we have freshened up we head off to Eagle Square again for some snap shot….. Then wen over for dinner nearby there too…… The food thumbs up…… Next we stop by at Langkawi Parade for some last min shopping and to grab some tit bits for “drinking” session…. Hahahahahaha….. We reached our hotel about 10 plus and by the time most of us kinda like tired….. but any how we still need to finish up the drinks that we bought…. 2 kampai, 2 budweiser & 1 Vodka Lime….. We played “Chor Tai Tee” the loser needs to drink…. It was fun time everyone is laughing all the way…. Chee was like a lil drunk and she started speaking in English…. We went to bed about 2am….. The next morning I woke up at 9am for breakfast…. I have to call the 3 lil piggies to wake up as well… As we only have 2 free breakfast wan Chee and myself wen down to take a look at the food to see if it’s worth it for the other 2 person to come down…. :P So yes finally the 4 of us are having our breakfast before going up to pack and check out from the hotel…. We left the hotel at 1pm and our ferry is at 4pm so we have about 2 hours to spare… And how did we spend that 2 hours??? We drove to Pantai Cenang and stop by at the Underwater World…… Then we head off to Maya Restaurant for our lunch before heading back to Kuah town to return our “Hero”. Do you all know what time we reach the Jetty 3.50pm and our ferry leaves at 4pm!!!!! Lucky for us we manage to catch the Ferry….. Adios to Langkawi and till we meet again….

Father's Day @ EverGreen Laurel

Happy Father’s Day……So how did you all celebrate this special day for all Daddy’s in the world?? Well as for me I wen over for Buffet @ Evergreen Laurel the theme for the buffet International… Aiks forgotten to take the pics of the food there… :P Neways I can only name the dishes but no pics to see ler…. There’s grill lobster, prawns, lamb, beef, roasted chicken, salmon…. Variety of Dim Sum… Thai Corner & Steamboat Corner…. What’s there for dessert??? Ice Cream, Fruits and many choices of cakes and pudding…..There are 8 of us 2 families…..4 men and 4 women to be exact… J The food not bad….. On the average side though nothing bad to be complaining about…. Environment considered pretty cozy…..However to me I feel that it’s the company that counts… Regardless where you are… J After you paid the bill there is a complimentary cake which obviously says Happy Father’s Day…..The taste of the cake… I dun know coz my mum gave it to my cuz coz there’s no way we would finish the cake… J Attached would be some of the pics… Enjoy till the next Father’s Day…..

Birthday wif the gals@Manila Place

On 25^th May which falls on a Friday, my best buddies from school (Ann, Kelly, Hui Ying & Wan Chee) and May celebrated my birthday with me at Manila Place…. My gosh wen I first walk in I’m impressed with the layout inside…. It’s definitely looks better than before classy and sophisticated….. We reach there about 8pm I think…. Of course everyone is hungry d so without further delay we place our order with the waitress….. While waiting for our food to arrive we chit chat on lotsa things…..From TVB series to fashion…….Finally our food is here…. Unfortunately for some of my frens the waitress screws up the order….. Mushroom soup serve in bun was served in bowl… L Wen placing the order specifically told her Mushroom soup in a BUN….. Arlo there is emphasize IN BUN….sigh and she can still get it wrong…. Neways the food we order was Mushroom Chicken, Chicken Cordon Blue (WC said a major disappointment), Sandwiches (I forgotten what type of Sandwiches), Crepe, Teriyaki Chicken and of course the famous Mushroom Soup in a BUN…..The food not bad only…I couldn’t finish my Mushroom Chicken though….. WC was forcing herself to finish up her Chicken cordon Blue…. :P We snap a few pics before proceeding to cake ceremony and pressie time……. J Thanks gal for getting me chocolate cake but too bad we didn’t eat it coz everyone is bloated….. Of course there’s always the candle taking from the cake session…. I had a hard time taking the candle out from the cake though….. In the end I just use my hand I think… :P Next of course the pressie presentation….. J Kelly,Michelle & Leena gave me this Gold color dinner bag…Check it out in the pics….. Gorgeous thanks gals….. WooHoo I got RM150 Esprit vouchers from Ann, Wan Chee & Hui Ying… It’s shopping time at Esprit for me….. The next day I actually wen to Gurney and spotted a Baby-T which I like but didn’t purchase it yet… I will keep you gals inform of the things I bought at Esprit…. Thanks for making my shopping @ Esprit a wonderful event…. Huggies to all 6 gals…. And of course WC got the real hug on the day itself…. And something funny happen during the hugging time… :P Thank you gals for the wonderful night out and of course the pressie….. Till the next outing…. Muakz…..

My Cuz Wedding on May 1st

How can I forgotten such a wonderful day? Wanna share wif you the memorial day of my cuz who is just 21 yrs of age who just got married.....We had fun on her wedding dinner.....Who ever planning for marriage soon I recommend this band to you which consists of 3 powerful women singers.....Of course they started wif the slow ballad and towards the end hot number..... :) My cuz dance the cha cha wif the singer as she come down around the table and of course our table is near to the stage ler....My cuz from age 15 yrs also drank some beer on the day....Of course me also got drink a lil la.....Since my dad approve for me and my bro to drink also ma...I have attached some of the pics on the special day....Enjoy the pics.....

Bday '07

My birthday just passed yesterday.....Today I'm wiser by a year....isn't that awesome???? I think that's how I tried to not to remind myself I'm not getting any younger...sigh.....Neways I had a great time on my birthday......Hmmmmm....Let's start wif how I pamper myself on my big day.....My dad gave me a voucher for a free night stay at Northam Suite Hotel....At 2pm, I checked into the room and it was awesome, it's a Junior Suite consists of separated bedroom and living room which have separated lounge and study areas next to a jacuzzi bathroom..I'm not alone sharing this great room :) My "baby" accompanied me..... Oh ya forgotten to share that it's seaview too to make it even better.....So then once we settle down wif out stuff and the coziness of the room....We wen down to the Spa to get a massage....I opted for Balinese Massage which comes with foot bathe & "baby" opted for Oriental Maasage..... It lasted for 50 mins but it was refreshing....Know what I got suprise when the masseur asked me if I would like to massage my moos.....But of course I said no ler.....hahahahaha kinda weird la.....Neways other than that, the massage is great....Feel fresh after that.....Once we finish we walked around the swimming pool area to get some fresh air before heading up to the cozy room to check out the jacuzzi......For dinner we ordered Room Service which arrives at about 8.00pm....What we ordered....Yummy Thai Fried Rice serve with egg & pandan chicken, Chicken Curry with rice serve with papadum and Spicy Chicken Wings.....I wanted to go to bed at 930pm due to too heavy dinner....hahahahaha but in the end wen down for a walk to check out the night view at the swimming pool.......Then wen back to the room to watch football live between Chelsea & MU...I'm rooting for MU but shitty in the end Chelsea won....shucks...... :( The next morning had breakfast serve in the room too...yummy American breakfast......Check out at 12.30pm and headed to Little Cottage 2 @ Waterfall Hotel for lunch with my fren......The food? Not bad.....Ordered sizziling chicken...I like the gravy ....I wonder how they do it... :) After lunch headed home, take a nap before going to my aunt place for steamboat...... And that's how I celebrated my Bday...... Must be wondering what I got for Bday? Stay Tuned... I will update it soon....Muakz.....

Langkawi Trip Jan '07

I remembered the last time that I wen holidayz wif my parents was way long wen I was still a kid :P.... Finally on Jan 19^th we drove down to Kuala Kedah to catch the ferry to Langkawi oh ya forgotten to mentioned my dad's best buddy and his wife come along on this trip...We reached the ferry terminal at about 12pm and manage to catch the next available ferry at 12.25pm….. Upon reaching the terminal I was really impressed with how Langkawi have change since back in 1996 wen I have follow the school rombongan sambil belajar.. :P u know la last time during our school days there’s always this time of school organize trips…..check out the pics attached….My dad wen over to the booth for car rental to collect the rented van…. Then off we go to the hotel for checking in…. We’re heading to Pantai Cenang where our hotel is located or should I say most of the hotels is located at… Finally after about 15-20 mins drive we reach Awana Porta Malai…. This hotel is the where the Star Cruise docks…. Neways we check into our room for a quick bathe and off we wen for sigh seeing.... Manage to catch a glimpse of the boat (should I call it boat or is there another name for it check it out yourself) oh ya forgotten to mentioned the ever so popular Bakery & Bistro owned by none other than our ex PM called "The Loaf". Yummy display of pastry......Next we wen over to check out the cable car....too bad didn't have a chance to try it as it's too late..they closes at 6pm and we reached there at 5.45pm...sob sob....oh well some other time I will be back again to try it..... On our way home we stop by at this hotel call Langkasuka to check out the view.....

Off we wen for dinner at Kuah town....Had seafood yummy my favourite.....Crabs.....We finish dinner at bout 8 plus then headed back to our hotel for a quick rest and bathe before heading to the hotel lounge.....How can you no drink in Langkawi right? ehem.......We reach the lounge about 10pm where there is 2 gals singing live performance....but nothing to catchy for me.... We were there for a bout 10 mins then off we wen to another pub located at the hotel...there is a 6 piece band performing live.....We order chivas my gosh and it's pretty cheap compared to those charge in Penang....But too bad the crowd is not as happening as the one in Penang....Nevertheless I had fun..... Bout 3 plus we leave the bistro and off to our room for our good nite rest before heading home to Penang tomorrow.....Bye Langkawi I shall see you soon......
